WOMEN-IN-YOGA Empowerment Conference will unite global, like-minded women leaders for a discussion on gender inequalities and how YOGA can be used as a tool to create change within practitioners and communities. As an annual gathering, the panelists, leaders of international yoga organizations and communities, will join forces to deliver a thought-provoking dialogue and practice sessions that we hope will inspire you to #BreakTheBias with yoga.

Funds raised will go directly toward women who are caregivers in poverty-stricken rural Karnataka, India, living on the borders of preserved wilderness. Often, their cattle are prey to wild animals, and this is a devastating loss for them. In order to make the necessary co-existence of wildlife and human settlements easier, Centre for Wildlife Studies, provides the materials and method for these women and their families to build simple cattle-sheds where the animals are safe at night, when they mostly fall prey.

The result has been that there has been no loss or predation of their domestic cattle enabling the families to provide for themselves and live more harmoniously in their environment.

Thank you for your generous support. You are making a huge difference in numerous lives.
